This is pretty ignorant viewpoint. I know plenty of people with a PhD that aren’t generating tons of wealth to pay off $200k+ of student debt. And it doesn’t mean they picked the wrong career, they picked an important specialization that we need in our world, but that isn’t always rewarded with wealth. Scientists, scholars, writers, educators…plenty of people who have PhDs but not making bukus of money when they graduate or even later on, and it has nothing to do with the importance of their work of their success.
